Low back pain is the most common type of back pain that a chiropractor will treat. There are a wide range of symptoms from pain, stiffness and associated leg pain.

The low back is continuously under pressure supporting the weight of the upper body  even whilst sitting for long periods. Low back pain is often triggered by daily activities like bending, twisting, lifting awkwardly, gym, running, driving or even just standing for long periods of time.

Low back pain is commonly associated with leg pain. One common cause is irritation to the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in your body, running from your pelvis and buttocks down to your feet. When this is compressed or irritated it can cause pain that radiates out from your lower back to your leg.
